Local cyclists brave stiff headwind at Wakefield Park | Goulburn Post

Racing on Thursday evening was at Wakefield Park for the graded criterium races. The riding conditions were warm but there was a strong headwind in the back straight of the course which made it tough for all the riders. In A Grad, Robbie Dorsett, Cameron Roberts and Jacob Emmerton formed a breakway by the half way mark of the race. Dorsett lead out of the final corner but it was Roberts who jumped out of his slipstream to take out the win from Emmerton and Dorsett . Wayne Bensley broke away early in the B Grade race but the peloton left him off the front anticipating the head wind in the back straight would eventually bring him back to the field.
